The Andaman Islands are known for their coral reefs and crystal clear waters. So far, about 200 varieties of corals have been documented from the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, which is the highest in this part of the world.
There are fringing reefs scattered throughout the territory and there are also many luxuriant coral banks in the adjoining open sea. Bright tropical fishes in many shapes and forms along with a vast number of amazing marine creatures are abundant in and around these coral reefs.
Just to name a few: butterfly fishes, clown/damsel/anemone fishes, scorpion fishes, wrasses, parrot fishes, surgeon fishes and sea horses.
Snorkeling trips are organized on request. Several different sites are accessible by boat from Havelock Island. We provide packed lunch, snorkel, fins & masks.
